Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actor. She's appeared in a variety of TV and film shows like "Christy", a comedy about a teenage girl known as Christy Huddleston. Other notable roles include her title character in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin was the daughter of a department shop buyer and an elementary school teacher. The actress began her acting career in the age of seven when her Aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's household, assisted Martin find a role as in the TV show Father Murphy. When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more seriously. Her roles were significant in television and on the big screen. Besides being an actress, Martin is also a talented photographer and ballet dancer. As a mother to two kids, she has been named the national spokesperson for Lupus. She has actively promoted Lupus since the time her younger sister passed away due to the disease at 19.
